About

Welcome all, to this - Goth-Sanity 2.0! Why the 2.0? Well that requires a little bit of a story. *clears throat*

Many years ago, when TS3 was the new-hawtness, I began an ISBI challenge. I decided I wanted Mortimer Goth as my founder, but I went ahead and played him from child age. Nothing that happened before his YA birthday counted for points, but it was a fun way to dip my toes in and get acquainted with the challenge as well as the family. Well Morty grew up eventually, married Bella and had 2 children (as canon dictates), daughter Cassandra and son Alexander. The readers voted on Cassandra to become TH, and the challenge took off from there. (It ended at around gen 6 or so because of computer issues, but that's neither here nor there).

Fast-forward to now. I'd like to do another ISBI challenge, this time in TS4. Lo and behold, the Goth family is once again premades. And wouldn't ya know it, little Alexander Goth is child-aged--just like Morty was all those years ago. And so I decided I'd do what I did before; start playing as child Alexander, while letting his family members do their craziness without counting the points.

The biggest difference however, is that these are MY Goths, not the premade Goths. I made them from scratch and gave them traits and personalities similar to the ones they developed in my original TS3 game. Once this Alexander is YA he'll be moving out of Goth Manor onto his own lot, and then the challenge will get started in earnest.

If you're interested in playing an ISBI of your own, you can find the rules here on the Sims Forums. Feel free to leave comments (either here on the blog or on the forums), I love feedback.

And now without further ado, kick back and enjoy the Goth-sanity.
